your best friend will be supportive. Thats the whole point behind being a best friend! she is supposed to love the people you love and hate the people you hate. If you are interested in this guy still, you need to start getting to know him. Make sure he doesnt feel pressured into it though, just be relaxed and natural. Tell your best friend what you are feeling, but go light on the drama. "Forced yourself to love another" is way too deep for a relationship that never even happened. Id say "tried really hard to like someone else" is more fitting. Either way, go for the guy you like, and let your best friend in on it, she wont be mad.
