Can A African Make Me Rich?

I keep getting these e-mails from Africans saying that I am entitled to a lot of money..yada yada yada. I heard some horror stories about how badly people have been scammed by this..Should I ignore my instincts and agree to these "transactions"?? It is really tempting and I would like to have a lot of money..Im the type of person who likes to see for myself..Would it be unwise for me to go and see for myself??
