My Telecom r100 phone is blocked but isnt asking for a puk code. HELP!?

I just got a telecom r100 mobile phone, and i failed at the PIN 10 times and now its saying "PUK BLOCKED" "Emergency calls only". I know my PUK code but i dont know where to enter it, when i enter it, the phone thinks i want to make an emergency call. PLEASE HELP
