Problem with my eyebrows?

Okay so I usually pluck my eyebrows because I don't like getting them waxed. Reason for that is that the hair around my eyebrows (they are naturally thick, I make them a lot thinner) starts growing back about two/three days after I get them waxed and it is way too expensive to get them waxed every week ($10 a week adds up quick). When I pluck my eyebrows, the hair starts growing back the next day (so I'm usually plucking my eyebrows every other night). My eyebrow hair is thick and long, too, so it makes my eyebrows look sparse. It's just annoying that I can't ever get my eyebrows to look good for more than a few days. I was thinking of getting my eyebrows threaded, but I don't know how long that will last. Help?
