PLEASE i need HELP! Which parrot is right for me? I need advice! 10 points awarded!?

ok so i want to get a parrot or small bird. like the size of a ateil. i had budgies for a while then they died so now i wanna get something more colorful and cuddly. I was considering the sun conure but if they scream all day then i dont think i can do that. I have the time to tend to the birds but imnot sure which one is good with kids either. anyone have a parrot that they would like to suggest? sun conure does anyone have one? do they really scream al day? thanks so much. also i wanna stay within a 600$ budget at most. i dont want a macaw or anything either haha thx
