Know any good horse books? read the whole next part before you answer!! VVV?

I am a mature 13 year old girl. I understand concepts like war, drugs, etc. I am a very horse-crazy girl and I love reading about them. The question is, do you know any good horse books you suggest? Look, I don't want you to answer with things like saddle club series, phantom stallion, canterwood crest, or anything related to misty of chincoteuge. I also don't want king of the wind, or any of those things. NO SERIES!!! I want something new! Something that's not a clic. I have just finished reading The Outside of a Horse by Ginny Rorby and it was by far the best book Ive ever read. It involved mature concepts and that's what im looking for.
