Army Question: Can I go to the NCO board with a temporary profile?

A temp profile will not bar you from getting promoted. As long as the prognosis is good for a full recovery and return to regular duty you should be fine. Never turn down an opportunity to go to a board - you need to take advantage of every opportunity presented to you.
